Satish is a trade lawyer and researcher with over a decade in international trade law and policy, spanning WTO dispute settlement, trade remedy investigations, and trade–climate policy across litigation, government advisory, and multilateral roles in India and Geneva.

 

He was previously a Policy Advisor at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) in Geneva and Pune, and has practised at Sarvada Legal and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys.

He holds an LL.M. from the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, and LL.B. and B. Com. (Hons.) from Delhi University. He founded Rumo Consulting, and writes and speaks regularly on trade and climate policy.
