The Economic Security Dashboard tracks how WTO Members frame trade issues in security terms. It codes security-related interventions from WTO documents across five sub-domains — Export Controls, Sanctions, Security Tariffs, Strategic Autonomy and Supply Chains. The Dashboard records who raised what, in which body, and which governance questions were at stake.

 

The Dashboard records framing, not legality: it does not assess whether a measure is WTO-consistent or whether a security justification is well founded.
